How comfortable are you being alone with yourself?

What feelings arise when you sit by yourself on a beach, at your humble abode or even yet during the holidays? I can truly say that “I love me and everything about me. I am grateful for me. It’s wonderful to be me!” Can you say that to yourself?

There was a time in my life where I didn’t like being by myself. Always looking for things to do with others. Making plans to go places and be with others even though I didn’t fully like the activities. I didn’t like everything about me and I didn’t always love all of me. It wasn’t a way to live with heart and soul alignment. That is a self-sabotaging character outside of our truth. Now, I love, love being by myself. Yoga, meditation and deep inner transformation taught me many ways to love being with me without any company. Now, I crave those days or moments to go back inside and be with just me. It’s the most precious experience that one can have along the journey to awakening.

So, remember during these holidays to honor, cherish and love your family and friends but most importantly, honor, cherish, and fall in love with you and being with yourself.

Cultivate strong love for every part of you. It shows and it radiates out to everyone you meet.
